Scarves for Cancer Patients

This is another idea to add to our activities during this time of isolation. These scarves are very easy to knit when we want a break from sewing. Of course we have to collect them at home until this pandemic is over but think of the number of people who will be happy to receive one when we can eventually give them out.

The pattern is quite simple: – using Chunky wool and 6mm kneedles, cast on 24 sts, or double knitting wool, cast on 33 sts. Knit in stocking stitch, garter stitch, moss stitch or any pattern you prefer to a length of 150-200cm (60ins)

The scarves can of course be crocheted if you prefer.

We look forward to seeing the finished results along with all your quilts!!
